Once your order is placed, it is immediately processed through our system and production begins and CANNOT be cancelled. If at any time we may allow an exception, unfortunately we must pass on a 15% restock/cancellation fee to you.
Guarantee/Returns
We pride ourselves in carrying high quality items and we hope that you will be pleased with your order. Nevertheless, rest assured that you can return anything except personalized items for any reason or no reason. We want you to be 100% happy with the baby gifts you purchase for the new special baby in your life.
If you need to return an item, please send an email to customercare@babydiapercakesandbaskets.com and enter "RETURN" in the subject line and within 10 days upon receipt date of your order for authorization on a return. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable.
We will accept authorized returns within 10 days as long as the items are unused, undamaged and 100% within its original packaging with tags and has not been personalized in any way by BabyDiaperCakesAndBaskets or others. All original receipts and invoices must accompany the return along with a Return Authorization that has been provided from BabyDiaperCakesAndBaskets. A Return Authorization can be given by emailing customercare@babydiapercakesandbaskets.com with "RETURN" in the subject line. Please note there are some of our gift items that may incur a 15% restock fee depending on the manufacturer.
After inspection of the returned items, BabyDiaperCakesAndBaskets reserves the right to refuse any returns upon final review if above guidelines have not been met.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing and call the freight carrier to return and inspect the damage and file a claim. We are not responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturers Defects. All products are First Quality and sold as free of defects. If a product appears to have a manufacture’s defect, email us for instructions within 24 hours of receiving your order and describe
the problem so we can make arrangements to resolve the problem. If your
item was personalized and you need to make a return because the
spelling was wrong and the error is verified that it was in fact due on
our part, we will gladly replace the gift item and shipping at our
expense. Do not return products to us without first contacting us to receive instructions. If an item is to be returned to us due to manufactures defect, you must first receive a Return Authorization Number. No packages will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number written clearly on the package.
Note: Please DO NOT return an item without a Return Authorization as the return will not be documented on file to be accepted as a return and can be issued a proper refund.
Once a return is authorized by our return department you should:
- Return the item to the address given to you by our return department.
- Write the Return Authorization Number clearly on the box or package.
- Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We can not be held liable for return merchandise that does not reach our return department.
We can refund shipping costs only if the return is a result of our error. You are responsible for all freight charges on shipments that are refused or returned with no fault on our part. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages or losses to defective products, errors in shipping your order, or other errors. The limit of our liability is the replacement cost of any item you purchase from us.
Please note, refunds can take up to 30 days to appear on your credit card. You will be fully refunded minus what the actual shipping charge was.
Shipping and Delivery Time
At BabyDiaperCakesAndBaskets, we do our best to ship your gifts as quickly as possible, however, custom and personalized orders require additional time to be made so please allow 2-3 business days for processing and an estimate of 4-9 business days to deliver from the time your order was placed. Some of our suppliers ship directly to you so you may receive your order in multiple shipments. With the exception of our Diaper Cakes, we ship out the majority of non-personalized gifts within 1 to 2 business days, many times the same day if in stock. Our Diaper Cakes are completely made from scratch, so our standard processing time of 2-3 days and delivery time of 4-9 days will apply. *Note--Shipping and Delivery time is in ADDITION to the order processing time! However in many cases, you may receive your order sooner. If for some reason your item is on backorder, you will be immediately notified, with the option to cancel the order. Please note our shipping days are Monday through Saturday, excluding regular Government and Banking holidays and Observances.
BabyDiaperCakesAndBaskets.com uses UPS Ground for most shipping within the United States. We've found that UPS provides the best value and reliability for our customers. However, we also use USPS and FedEx. Each particular carrier will be used according to what we see that can get the product to you in a more timely manner at a comparable cost. If you desire more rapid delivery, we can ship 2nd day air or overnight in most cases and to most destinations. There is additional cost to ship overnight or 2nd day air and we would be happy to discuss that with you. Please contact us first before placing your order if you want Express Shipping, though please keep in mind
we do not guarantee delivery by a specific date once the product is out of our hands and turned over to the freight carrier, because we cannot
control delivery delays caused by carrier errors, weather conditions,
etc. We will however try our best to meet your deadlines on our end.
Packages returned by UPS as undeliverable or rejected by recipients incur a $10.00 returned item fee by UPS. Because our account is automatically charged, please double check ship-to information before placing your order as we must unfortunately pass this charge onto you, the purchaser, in such an event. UPS' standard procedure is if a recipient is not there to receive a package, UPS will leave a notification slip at the residence. UPS will return the next 2 consecutive days to re-deliver. If the recipient is still not home and has not called the 800 number on the slip to arrange delivery, the package is returned to us and a $10.00 returned item fee is assessed in which we must, unfortunately, pass on to you, the customer. For other carriers we may use, return fees can incur up to $20.00. For your convenience, when your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number that you can use to track your order online.
*Remember, please double check your SHIP-TO information when checking out to avoid this fee, we would hate to have to pass this on to you.
Order Confirmation and Tracking Shipments
If you
have provided a valid e-mail address with your order you will receive
two e-mails. The first confirms your order in detail
and the second confirms your order has shipped with a provided tracking number.

Delivery
Charges are automatically calculated by our shopping cart and are
"Estimates" Only. Charges may be more or less depending on size and actual weight or if
your order needs to packed in separate boxes or requires an "oversize"
box. Most of our shipping prices however, are very close to the actual estimated
shipping cost for all of our items.
Due to the rising costs of oil, shipping charges may change without notification.
Shipping Rates are figured by Weight and Packaging according to the US Postal Service, UPS and FedEx.
